Sarah Palin certainly doesn’t mince words when criticizing President Obama, but there’s something particularly stinging about the former vice presidential candidate calling out the man who was once on the short list for 2016. That photo of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid hugging Sen. Marco Rubio following the Senate’s vote on immigration reform is destined to feature in countless campaign ads against Rubio; at least today’s thank you phone call from President Obama wasn’t caught on film.
“Obama Calls Rubio to Congratulate Him on Immigration Reform”
…Hope it was worth 30 pieces of silver.
Just saying, between hugging Sarah Palin and hugging Marco Rubio, if it were me… Okay, blogging leaves my mind with way too much time to wander, but there’s just something about a woman who can drop a moose at 100 yards.
Jay Carney, White House spokesman, did not say what the president’s strategy would be on dealing with the House over immigration reform. Carney added that the bill “enjoyed substantial bipartisan support in the Senate,” and said that the president would make clear to the House “what our principles are and to provide the significant amount of policy expertise that we have, and data that we have, and to be as helpful to the process as we can.”
What can you say? When Jay’s right he’s right. Only the PEOPLE are for locking down the border before legalizing and giving work visas to between 11-and-20 million people who have no right to be here in the first place, when 25 million Americans who have every right to be here are out of work.
Republicans in the Senate work differently than the House. They have to get along with Harry Reid and know how to compromise with Democrats and things. Everyone knows that except Ted Cruz and Rand Paul and Mike Lee and a few other malcontent wacko-birds who don’t understand why they’re here…
… which is to get a good reservation at Komi, of course.
