Obama: Call Me Irresponsible, Call Me Unreliable, Throw In Undependable Too … But The Fair and Impartial Verdict was Unfair

357289-130720-obama-trayvon-martinShow of hands: Remember when presidents took to the airwaves to calm the nation in times of distress and crises? Like with Reagan and the Challenger and Bush on 9-11? And how the media stepped out of the way and let him do his job?

Well, uh, they don’t do that any more… calm the nation in times of distress and crisis that is …

The Right Scoop:

Mark Levin said that Ronald Reagan always talked up America, never apologizing for it, but reminding everyone all over the world what a great country we have. But Obama never does that, he says, even though he’s traveled all over the country and has seen what a great people we have. Levin points out that Obama doesn’t sound like a man who is honored to lead America as her president. Instead he has a chip on his shoulder and is intent to balkanize America with speeches like he made today on race.

Instead of acting like a president, he acts like Al Sharpton – all the while more and more black teens can’t get a job and more black adults are rolling on to welfare. Yet no one ever talks about it. Ever. [Audio]

In brave new Obamaworld, presidents golf their way through upheavals and show up five days later to tell us what to feel… That the law is the law and, by God, the jury has spoken and the evidence wasn’t there… but if it were a perfect Obamaworld, say, with judges and juries to render verdicts we like, we would have a better justice system… or something.

Oh he of the ooo’d and ahh’d non sequitur.

The DC:

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama took the White House podium Friday to offer marginal fixes to the problems raised by the trial and acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla.

But he acknowledged that African-American males have a higher-than-average crime rate, shortly before he dismissed the data as an “excuse” for treating black youths differently.

“Now, this isn’t to say that the African-American community is naive about the fact that African-American young men are disproportionately involved in the criminal justice system, that they are disproportionately both victims and perpetrators of violence,” he said.

He immediately suggested that Americans should ignore the data. ”The fact that a lot of African-American boys are painted with a broad brush and the excuse is given, well, there are these statistics out there that show that African-American boys are more violent — using that as an excuse to then see sons treated differently causes pain,” he said.

A November 2011 report by the Justice Department said that young African-American men comprise only 1 percent of the population, but commit 27 percent of the murders.

Instead, he identified the problem as racism, and Obama suggested states pass laws to curb profiling and reduce the “stand your ground” legal defenses.

“I think it’d be productive for the Justice Department — governors, mayors to work with law enforcement about training at the state and local levels in order to reduce the kind of mistrust in the system that sometimes currently exists,” he said.

“If we’re sending a message as a society in our communities that someone who is armed potentially has the right to use those firearms even if there’s a way for them to exit from a situation, is that really going to be contributing to the kind of peace and security and order that we’d like to see?” he said. [Be even more insulted here]

You must admit, Barry owes Trayvon this much. If it hadn’t been for the little wannabe gangbanger deciding to beat up the pudgy creepy-ass cracker, we’d still be talking about the Benghazi coverup.

Suggestion: Obama’s next gun control bill should be entitled: The Thank You Jesus Trayvon Martin Anti Gun Act. Amen.
