Steal Ann Coulter’s New Book

ann-coulter-eats-babiesIt is a bad day whenever you wake up and realize you have to dog on a sister.

I should preface my further remarks by saying that I love Ann Coulter. Even when she’s not firing on all calendars she’s better than most Republican pundits. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone who can dismantle and expose to the light of day a Democrat strategy quite as well.

Too bad she only hangs out with Democrats. Whoops! Excuse me. She has allegedly dated the wonderfully funny Jimmy Walker, who may be a RINO.

I’ll confess I have not read Coulter’s new book, “Never Trust a Liberal Over 3 — Especially a Republican,” but the title alone is laughable.

Perhaps she explains within its pages why she spent the entire 2012 GOP primary season fronting Mitt Romney, and, when that failed, Chris Christie, both so liberal that a Democrat couldn’t pick them out at a Republican perp walk.

Even dumb old RRG could have told her neither of them would ever garner enough votes from the party base to get elected. As it was, Romney had to resurrect Porter Rockwell’s Danites to get the three conservatives who voted for him to the polls. I know; I was one of them.

Chris Christie? Christie is the New York Times’ idea of what a great Republican presidential candidate should be — too liberal to be nationally electable.

Doubtless Coulter’s book will touch on some obvious truths regarding GOP failures in recent years, but those two disastrous decisions alone should be reason enough for any conservative not to take her seriously.

Early on some of us were suspect of Marco Rubio as a red meat conservative, but is Rubio any more the traitor for his serial immigration flip-flops, than Christie for his stances on gun control and green energy?

I don’t think Coulter gets it. Either that, or she is wickedly conning those of us who followed her religiously for so long. I refuse to believe the latter.

However, I was astonished when she signed on with the Peggy NoonanLiz Trotta Frumps Against Palin-Bachmann faction, a couple of years ago. Of all people, I would have thought Ann Coulter understood that the GOP’s appetite for eating its young is the Left’s greatest media weapon.

All any mediocre Democrat pundit — say, well, all of them — has to do is appear on Hannity and recite RINO talking points that declare the Tea Party rightwing nut jobs. Indeed the establishment’s greatest accomplishment has been snatching defeat from the jaws of the 2010 Tea Party landslide victory.

I began this post by saying I love Ann Coulter, and I am not going throw out the babe with the bathwater yet. I love her because she is brilliant and probably one of the few women you can still call a broad without getting sued for sexual harassment.

But if Ann is truly concerned for the survival of her party, she will wear garlic around her neck when she hangs out with RINOs.

Gave up on Coulter a long time ago. She is just in it for the money. She’s NOT an actual Conservative.

I would like to believe otherwise, however, I believe Governor Palin is one of the four or five greatest voices in the history of American conservatism. For Coulter to criticize her for her voice register or local dialect? Well, Abraham Lincoln would not be surprised.

“I believe Governor Palin is one of the four or five greatest voices in the history of American conservatism.”

Couldn’t agree more. Now, how do we get her running this country?

Well, I’d have to say, first she has to want to run the country. But I couldn’t agree more that she would be my choice. On her national debut in 2008, I said, ‘Democrats have to destroy this woman.’ What I didn’t know was that Republicans would help. Palin isn’t stoppable as a force though.

Me, too. When she started spilling her bile on Mitt’s opponents I crossed her off my list.
