Where is the Republican Health Care Plan?
Would you just answer me that? That is the question Chris Matthews, Mara Liasson and every other Obama-tingle-afflicted (OTA) hack in the media has been asking since the day the Democrats started this disaster.
The answer is there is no Republican plan.
And why should there be? There isn’t anything wrong with American health care and never has been. At least there wasn’t, until Barack Obama got his long elegantly tapered girl-fingers on it.
The United States has had its issues with health insurance; it has been far too expensive for decades, but a health care problem it was not.
Liberals will argue the point, lumping in all kinds of statistics to show health care as a barely functioning disaster, but their arguments always fly in the face of one empirical fact: when the world is sick, it comes here.
Yesterday, Barack offered Republicans a typical backhanded olive branch.
Obama via Shallow Nation:
Look, I’ve always said I will work with anybody to implement and improve this law effectively. If you’ve got good ideas, bring them to me. Let’s go. But we’re not repealing it as long as I’m President and I want everybody to be clear about that. (Applause.)
We will make it work for all Americans. If you don’t like this law — (applause) — so, if despite all the millions of people who are benefitting from it, you still think this law is a bad idea then you’ve got to tell us specifically what you’d do differently to cut costs, cover more people, make insurance more secure. You can’t just say that the system was working with 41 million people without health insurance. You can’t just say that the system is working when you’ve got a whole bunch of folks who thought they had decent insurance and then when they got sick, it turned out it wasn’t there for them or they were left with tens of thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket costs that were impossible for them to pay. [More Crazy Barry here]
Is this guy clinical or what?
Well, yes, Barry, that is exactly what we are saying. The truly indigent in this country have always received help, but the idea that health care insurance is a human right is utter bullsh*t.
There have been—and this is a quick eyeball count—14 GOP attempts to fix our broken health care insurance industry, and Democrats and their MSM cohorts have dismissed every one of them.
And you are still trying to sell the American public this Frankenstein monster?
Obama went on to add:
More problems may pop up, as they always do when you’re launching something new. And when they do, we’ll fix those, too.
“More problems may pop up”?
Mr. President, are you delusional?
Thanks a bunch, low-information voters. Your president is now having 1980’s Donkey Kong flashbacks.
