At about 2:54 into the video below our little man worries about how he is going to feed his family when he grows up. Which is a primary concern of adolescents everywhere.
“I want to go to college, I want to have a good life and it makes me worry, like, how I’m going to be successful? And how am I gonna be able to probid … provide for my family …” [tears, sniffle-sniffle-sniffle] “… I worry about that everyday.”
If you caught this on Hannity last night, once you picked yourself off the floor laughing you had to be wondering where they found a 12-year-old — an obviously well nourished 12-year-old, we hasten to add — who thinks 20 days in the future, much less 20 years.
But filmmakers Harry and Joe Gantz found one and they extended hope to our little ‘Petey’ (he looks like a Petey to the RG).
For $200, Alex, the answer is…
What are more government regulations and entitlements?
American Winter [obligatory liberal bureaucrat voiceover]
“If capitalism is not regulated or checked, there is a harsh [indiscernible], and it will always seek out the lowest cost… highest returns… We’ve reduced taxes, and now people are more vulnerable. My job is to communicate to people the absolute moral imperative, during these times, of using public resources to maintain this safety net…”
So, dang it, Barack, that capitalist pig, just isn’t passing out enough freebies!
If we can just increase food stamp distribution to, say, 70 percent of all Americans, throw in government-subsidized housing, more Obamaphones, free college educations all around and, hey, maybe a pre-owned low-mileage cash-for-clunkers VW Beetle, little Petey won’t have to lose sleep at night wondering how he’s going support his wife and kids.
Won’t you help? Call your congressperson today; tell him or her to send more money now. Help your government feed little Petey’s future wife and kids! And maybe throw in a puppy?
One has to wonder just how many Jack Lew autographed dollars the Obama administration gave the Gantz brothers to make this dreck.
Seriously, not to make light of any of these families’ plights, but American history is literally chocked with successful people who grew up in poverty and never received a social welfare dime. John Paul DeJoria, Abraham Lincoln, Steve Jobs, Ronald Reagan and Dr. Ben Carson are just a few who come to mind.
The most disgraceful thing to come out of American Winter is not America’s unwillingness to pass out more entitlements, but that these children are being taught they they’ll always be losers unless they can get a government handout.
