We saw it during her husband‘s administration and throughout her 2008 presidential nomination bid, and even later during her tenure as secretary of state; Hillary Clinton is the most popular female political figure of our time.
Until she gets near a microphone…
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned Americans not to embrace the idea that ‘anybody can have a gun, anywhere, anytime,’ during a speech at the National Council for Behavioral Health conference in Maryland Tuesday. This skewed mindset is not in the best interest of the majority of citizens, Clinton explained.
As captured by the Associated Press:
“I think again we’re way out of balance. I think that we’ve got to rein in what has become an almost article of faith that anybody can have a gun anywhere, anytime,” Clinton said. “And I don’t believe that is in the best interest of the vast majority of people. And I think you can say that and still support the right of people to own guns.” [gotta read it all]
Well, here’s what we have to say about that, Madam Former Secretary:
The RG for one hopes that Hillary Clinton is the 2016 Democratic nominee for president; the woman cannot open her mouth without either: a) lying; or, b) saying something incomprehensibly idiotic.
Um, Hilly? This whole gun thing? It didn’t just pop up at Tea Party I in 2009. Read slowly because this is hard for liberals: IT IS A FUNDAMENTAL, GOD-GIVEN, CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT.
So there’s that.
The GOP has enough of Hillary Clinton’s little pearls of wisdom footage to run one continuous HILLARY’S SO STUPID ad every hour of every day through Election Day 2016.
Remember this Republicans: Dumb + Liar.
In fact, the only way you guys can possibly lose to the Democrats in 2016 is by doing something even stupider than nominating Hillary Clinton, like nominating someone like this:
