Hillary may be on to something here.
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) February 3, 2015
I mean why complicate the discussion by saying something someone might disagree with?*
And you can do this sitting on the toilet!
Hillary Clinton came out of her hiding Monday night to chime in on vaccines.
The eventual 2016 presidential candidate took a not-so-veiled swing at New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Sen. Rand Paul’s (R., Ky.) comments on whether the government should be able to mandate vaccines.
“When you tweet, there’s no follow up questions involved,” MSNBC host Jose Díaz-Balart said. …
“Hillary Clinton has been picking her political spots very carefully. She hasn’t stepped into too many debates. When she does, she’s been using twitter. That shows you how safe this issue is for her,” Kasie Hunt said.
I don’t see a downside, do you?
It’s an idea whose time has come. I can even see going retro, back to the Lincoln-Douglas era when most Americans couldn’t see the candidates debate in person and read their positions in the newspapers.
Look at the upside…
Hillary would possibly never have to open her mouth in public again: no more mangled un-thought-out embarrassments to be played over and over ad nauseam by the opposition…
No more planned-but-transparent histrionics that rehearse well with the spin doctors but make her appear real-world cold and heartless, like this…
Which, of course, she is…
Now if we can only get with the good folks at Twitter to develop, um… some kind of button.
Just in case…
*I Think most American believe vaccination is a good idea; the argument is whether or not we want village idiots like Barack and Hillary dictating it. Interestingly, the same people who are trying to create a panic about this new outbreak, smugly sat by as the Obama administration trucked infected illegals by the thousands all around the country last year. Good going, Democrats.
