For a while at least, we will have to draw our own conclusions based on widely varied accounts of who the Dallas cop killer(s) is/are and why he/they laid siege from an elevated sniper’s nest(s) during a Black Lives Matter protest last night.
Be sure to filter what you read, see and hear, knowing that Dallas’s mayor is a loony lefty Democrat, “all-in on Obama’s gun control agenda,” and supported by an activist socialist media.
All we need now is another inane statement from a feckless Republican congressional leader.
ID: Black Power Activist Micah Xavier Johnson from Mesquite
One of the Dallas shooters was identified this morning as Micah Xavier Johnson from Mesquite, Texas.
CBS DFW reported:
However, Dallas Police Chief David Brown confirmed the death of one gunman, later identified by CBS News as of 25-year old Micah Xavier Johnson of Mesquite, the suspect that police cornered in a parking garage at El Centro College in the downtown area immediately following the shooting.
According to Brown, police cornered Micah Johnson and negotiated with him for several hours. When talks broke down – they exchanged gunfire with the man. At that point, police sent in a remote vehicle and detonated a bomb – ultimately killing him.
“We saw no other option but to use our bomb robot and place a device on its extension for it to detonate where the suspect was. Other options would have exposed our officers to great danger” said Brown.
“He seemed lucid during negotiations.” said Chief Brown “He expressed anger for Black Lives Matter.”
The Heavy has more on Micah Johnson:
Sources told the Los Angeles Times that Johnson has no ties to terror groups and no known criminal history. He has lived in the Dallas area and has family members living in Mesquite, Texas, east of Dallas, the newspaper reports, citing federal law enforcement sources.
A black SUV was found at the scene registered to Delphene Johnson, who is Micah Johnson’s mother according to Facebook posts and public records, NBC Dallas-Fort Worth reports. Live helicopter video from the news station showed police at her home in Mesquite.
So already we have contradictory messages coming in from all directions, some saying Johnson was a black power activist and others saying he has no organizational ties.
Bill Johnson, the Executive Director of the National Association of Police Organizations, joined America’s Newsroom following the vicious attack Thursday night at a Black Lives Matter protest that left five police officers dead and several more injured.
Gregg Jarrett: Do they increasing feel under siege and targeted?
Bill Johnson: Absolutely, it is a horrible day. It’s a war on cops. And the Obama administration is the Neville Chamberlain of this war.
I think their continued appeasement at the federal level with the Department of Justice, their appeasement of violent criminals, their refusal to condemn movements like Black Lives Matter actively calling for the death of police officers, that type of thing, all the while blaming police for the problems of this country has directly led to the climate that has made Dallas possible. …
Hillary Dumps BLM Speech
Presumptive Democratic Party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton was planning to spend all day Friday exploiting the recent police shootings of Black men at an event with Vice President Joe Biden in Scranton, Pennsylvania and in a keynote speech at the Black AME church bicentennial dinner Friday night in Philadelphia.
Clinton cancelled the Scranton speech early Friday following the massacre of Dallas police officers. Clinton still plans to speak at the AME conference. [read]
