It is a sentiment already developing among some Trump allies as well as many who brought Donald Trump the greatest election upset in history.
And there is apparent cause for concern.
Among the most disconcerting:
In a disappointing first interview with the corrupt New York Times, the soon-to-be 45th president is bizarrely indicating that he could continue to run his multibillion-dollar real estate empire while serving as president.
There are other high-profile campaign positions the soon-to-be 45th president seems top be signaling he may be shifting on, as well.
In a resource-rich nation with the technology to produce safe, clean fossil fuel, Barack Obama’s jobs-destroying green energy policy was very likely a key reason coal states like Pennsylvania and Ohio went to Trump.
And it is not all rumor.
Nikki Haley for UN ambassador?
The President-Elect’s early appointments have been encouraging, but this one is certainly not.
This is the same Nikki Haley who decried Trump’s stance on Muslim immigration in her State of the Union Rebuttal and then followed up with this…
It is hard to think of a Republican who less represents Donald Trump’s stated worldview during the campaign…
The old adage, “Dance with the one what brung ya,” comes to mind here.
It would be very sad, indeed, to see our next president leave his loyal supporters standing in the ten-cent-a-dance line, and waltz off into the moonlight with the donor-class elitists who represent the antithesis of his movement.
Say in ain’t so, Mr. President-Elect.
