Meet Indiana’s Newest Millionaires

Like most small business entrepreneurs, the O’Connors were just making a living. The father-daughter Walkerton, IN pizzeria owners weren’t getting rich, and if they are like most small business owners they were probably just getting by.

Then Alyssa Marino, a small time reporter for an ABC affiliate in South Bend, decided she’d get her name on the board with a cheap gottcha piece and further her own lefty political agenda in the process.

That was Crystal O’Connor spewing out her rightwing Christian hate message. She may look harmless, but don’t be deceived, homophobic bigotry is just oozing from every pore in her body.

And you know the rest.

The Left brought out everyone but the midget tumblers to make sure the O’Connors were destroyed and their business would never open again.

Their phones rang for 24 hours straight with death threats and obscene messages. Twitter and FaceBook exploded.

But that wasn’t quite the end.

Lawrence Billy Jones III, a young black man, got involved and opened a GoFundMe account for the O’Connors.

Then Dana Loesch, Ace, Robert Stacy McCain, Jim Treacher and a whole lot of other conservative bloggers and journalists defined the true story.

Donations closed down late yesterday at $842,592.

And the O’Connors, who were thinking of closing their doors and moving out of Indiana, decided to reopen their pizzeria.

It wasn’t supposed to be this way.

These Christian bigots were supposed to be destroyed, never to be seen or heard from again.

Like Darren Wilson and George Zimmerman and Juanita Broderick and dozens of other people who have been targeted by the Left for just going to work and trying to make an honest living.

But sometimes things have a way of working out in spite of the evil devices of an agenda-driven leftist media and the cultural Marxists it bolsters.

Those people, the real haters, will probably leave the O’Connors alone, now that their plot has backfired.

PS — If you are a gay man or woman living in Walkerton, the O’Connors will probably still be happy to serve you a pizza, just like before. They don’t, and never have, hated you.

They just don’t want to participate in a lifestyle that most societies for thousands of years, all the way back to Sodom and Gomorrah, have considered deviant.

But you already knew that, didn’t you?

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together… saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Why indeed.
