Yes, the Marines In Chattanooga Were Unarmed

It’s difficult to make a common sense argument about a horrendous act like the Chattanooga shooting, when we live in a country where we can’t even acknowledge the shooter’s likely motivation without a multimillion-dollar federal investigation.

The photo above sort of says it all: The terrorist attack on four courageous U.S. Marines occurred in a federal Gun Free Zone.

“As Commander-in-Chief, I would mandate that soldiers remain armed and on alert at our military bases.

President Clinton never should have passed a ban on soldiers being able to protect themselves on bases. America’s Armed Forces will be armed.

They will be able to defend themselves against terrorists. Our brave soldiers should not be at risk because of policy created by civilian leadership. Political correctness has no place in this debate.”…

Which any Democrat and even some Republicans in Washington will tell you is a completely harebrained idea, or at least would have, up until yesterday.

You guys? These were combat-trained U.S. Marines.
