Is ‘The Bush’ Resurrecting the ‘Wimp Factor’?

I have never been able to put my finger on what it is I don’t like about Jeb Bush, but it began way before he came out for amnesty and Common Core. Some of it certainly is familial, and traces back to his mother, that bawdy old broad who audaciously piled on Sarah Palin with the establishment GOP in 2010.

And some of it, no doubt, harks back to the “Wimp Factor” Bush 41 was said to have projected back in the late ‘80s. To be clear, GHW was not a wimp, but that is certainly an image even some conservatives had of him. Maybe it was because so many of us knew he had no intention of continuing the Reagan Revolution.

But if there is a wimp gene in the Bush clan, Jeb appears to have inherited it.

And I don’t think I’m alone in coming to the conclusion.

Already some of Bush’s key fundraisers are jumping ship, and it’s hard to see how he survives, even when Trump eventually hits the rocks, which I sincerely hope happens, sooner rather than later.

Oh, take a pill. I like Trump, but I don’t believe for a moment he is serious, and even if he is, just saying AMERICA IS GONNA BE SOOO GREAT WHEN I’M PRESIDENT is not a policy statement anyone with a brain can take seriously.

But can we take Jeb any more seriously, especially when he so clearly projects the same weaknesses as his immediate establishment predecessors, this early in the primary season?

Will somebody locate that primary?
