Once Again, Shepard Smith is an Uninformed Dork

Liberal Fox News anchor Shep Smith has stepped in it again. This time by condemning U.S. governors for refusing to accept a wave of un-vetted Syrian refugees the Obama administration insists on forcing on the American homeland.

Fox News anchor Shepard Smith delivered Monday a stern rebuke to U.S. politicians who have sought to restrict the flow of Syrian refugees to the country after the Paris attacks, which left at least 129 dead and hundreds more injured.  

Like a similar critique issued Monday by President Barack Obama at the G-20 summit in Turkey, Smith refrained from going after specific individuals, but his comments were clearly aimed at the mostly Republican governors across the country who have announced they will not accept any of the 10,000 Syrian refugees expected to arrive in the country by the end of 2016. [read it all, if you must]

Well, Shep, Franklin Roosevelt would be surprised that closing our ports and borders is un-American. Just hours after the Pearl Harbor attack he shut down immigration and naturalization proceedings within the United States.

Yes, some of FDR’s actions were unconstitutional and some were arguably inhumane. But denying the entrance of our potential enemies into this country was not one of them.

And, no, we have not forgotten who we are; we are the kindest and most generous nation the world has ever produced. In spite of that Democrat president’s prejudices and/or lack of judgment.

We are in a worldwide war, Shepard. You and our President may be too preoccupied with other pursuits to have noticed this, but it is a fact. To import and naturalize 10,000 or more potential enemies of the Untied States is not humane.

It is insane.
