Kerry: ‘Sure, Iran Will Use Prisoner-Deal Money to Try to Kill Us…’

Now we know why Common Core is the center point of the Obama administration’s education agenda.

It takes math like that to make sense of a deal that 1) Obtains the release of Americans who shouldn’t have been in Iran to begin with, 2) Effectively pardons 21 Iranian terrorists, and 3) Pays the Iranians $1.7 billion out of your taxpayer funds to take them off our hands.

Wait. Not exactly. Seven of the terrorists get to stay right here where they can do the most damage to the Great Satan.

Let’s get back to the part where John Kerry paid $1.7 billion U.S. taxpayer dollars in this prisoner-hostage swap, and how Iran will now presumably use some of it to kill people.

Washington Free Beacon:

Oh good. And just how many Americans will have to give their lives to make this an unacceptable risk? How many Israelis? Or how many of those overwhelmingly good Muslims the administration likes to tout?

Yes, we should all be happy for the release of these innocent Americans, but this prisoner-hostage swap makes it all but certain that other Americans will die. And it once and for all sets a price on other Americans’ heads who travel abroad.

No one should have a great deal of trouble understanding how a man like John Kerry sees this as a positive advancement in relations with a barbaric enemy of humanity.

He’s done that before.

But the math is simple enough, done old school.

This was a terrible deal.
