Stahl Alleges Trump Supporter Threats, Violence

Frankly, we are a little surprised that no one is talking about this portion of Leslie Stahl’s 60 Minutes interview with Donald Trump last night.

Of course, we should be disappointed that Donald Trump gave CBS or any other MSM news outlet his first interview since winning the election.

But to allow Stahl to claim unsubstantiated widespread racist and -phobic conduct by Trump supporters, and not throw it back in her face, should bother of anyone who voted for the President-Elect.

Here is a snippet.

In the first place, we did not hear Leslie Stahl ask Trump about violence against his supporters, only her allegations that Trump supporters are carrying out acts against minorities in his name.

Stahl’s voiceover is disingenuous. Here Trump is only addressing the MSM-concocted myth that his supporters are running rampant with threats and attacks against LGBTs, Muslim and Illegals.

Lesley Stahl (voiceover): On the topic of violence in the streets since his election victory, Donald Trump says he’s “saddened” to hear some of his supporters are inciting violence:

“If it helps. I will say this…Stop it”

Donald Trump: I am very surprised to hear that– I hate to hear that, I mean I hate to hear that–

Lesley Stahl: But you do hear it?

Donald Trump: I don’t hear it—I saw, I saw one or two instances…

Lesley Stahl: On social media?

Donald Trump: But I think it’s a very small amount. Again, I think it’s–

Lesley Stahl: Do you want to say anything to those people?

Donald Trump: I would say don’t do it, that’s terrible, ‘cause I’m gonna bring this country together.

Lesley Stahl: They’re harassing Latinos, Muslims–

Donald Trump: I am so saddened to hear that. And I say, “Stop it.” If it– if it helps. I will say this, and I will say right to the cameras: Stop it.

No, President-Elect Trump, what would help is if you had taken Leslie Stahl to task for that ambiguous and as yet unfounded allegation.

Here’s how that works, sir:

Leslie, please give me specifics.

Because, Leslie, as we speak George Soros’ sponsored, media-propagated, leftist anarchists are rioting in the streets of this nation; and there are countless reported incidences of alleged Trump voters being harassed and beaten by those same left wing thugs.

Here at RRG, we are very excited about Donald Trump’s election as the 45^th President of the United States.

But that being said, we also intend to do our small part in holding our new president’s feet to the fire for the promises he has made to the American people.

We have been lied to before.

So it is in that spirit we say:

Donald J. Trump, 60 million Americans defended and supported you, in the face of a concerted media onslaught the likes of which are previously unknown in our history.

You’re supporters bled for their beliefs.
