Al Gore’s Inconvenient Sequel

UPDATED – It has been a decade since Al Gore came out of his self-pitying election defeat funk, lost, well, not a whole lot of weight, and cashed in on the biggest science fraud since alchemy.

And now he’s back.

Paramount will release the follow-up to Al Gore’s Academy Award-winning documentary about the world’s climate crisis in 2017.

The Sundance Film Festival will open with a follow-up to An Inconvenient Truth, former Vice President Al Gore’s two-time Academy Award-winning documentary about the world’s climate crisis.

From Participant Media, and directed by Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk, the sequel follows Gore as he continues his decades-long fight to build a more sustainable future for the planet.

“Now more than ever we must rededicate ourselves to solving the climate crisis,” said Gore in a statement. “But we have reason to be hopeful; the solutions to the crisis are at hand. I’m deeply honored and grateful that Paramount Pictures and Participant Media have once again taken on the task of bringing the critical story of the climate crisis to the world.” [read it here]

Only in America, huh? It certainly can be argued that, unlike the alchemists of yore, Al has turned lead into gold.

An Inconvenient Truth mainstreamed the weather-as-climate cult; bought Gore his own Gulfstream jet, gave him an oceanfront home with the carbon footprint of Monsanto, and turned the former Southern Baptist beltway brat into a Travolta-esque “crazed sex poodle” with an alimony payment.

It also used more Styrofoam than Tiffany’s shipping and receiving dock.

Over the intervening decade Al Gore paved the way for Barack Obama’s bogus Nobel Prize, admitted to cashing in on warming hysteria, and barred the press from his speeches when they wanted to question him about his enormous financial windfall.

So there is all that.

Is the earth warming? Maybe. Probably. Albeit it is more likely that grass grows light-years faster. “Climate” is earning its gospelers in the scientific community a very good subsidized living.

But even assuming that climate change is fact, that the warming is man-caused is far from a given. Anyone with a wit of common sense knows that man-caused disasters only occur when like ISIS extremists play soccer and stuff.

And even if warmist claims that more than 95% of climate scientists accept conventional warming wisdom (and there is very good reason to doubt that claim), some of the best climate pros do not.

However, the most shameful thing about the man Democrats still insist was the true 43^rd president, is that he knows he is disseminating fraudulent information.

Yet he’s sending a reboot of his $100 million fraud to a theater near you in the coming year.

How lucky we are that this man was not our president.
