The Spooky Kaitlyn Hunt Affair: McCain’s Fight For Right Under Attack
Robert Stacy McCain, a man I have known of for several years but do not know, in some ways reminds me of the trailblazing Andrew Breitbart. He has taken an active roll in encouraging citizen bloggers and has made the experience fun again, at least for me.
For two months now, McCain has been raising public awareness about Kaitlyn Hunt, the Florida lesbian accused of having a sexual relationship with an underage girl, and then stalking the child after her pretrial release from jail.
If you have followed us at all this week you know how very important Regular Right Guy thinks McCain’s fight is in staving off the gay movement’s quest for moral nullification. This very small segment of our society is attempting to force their values on everyday Americans and is succeeding at an alarming rate.
In a way the case of Kaitlyn Hunt parallels that of Anthony Weiner’s Twitter slut Sidney Leathers. Not in sexual orientation, but in the decaying mores we are witnessing in the millennial generation.
News is circulating today that Leathers may have placed herself at risk of contracting the HIV virus in her porn exploitation video for Vivid Video. You can see a blub at AOL on this story.
Back to Kaitlyn Hunt. I’m breaking the wall here. Normally I do satire that perhaps 1 percent of society might think is funny. The upside is that I piss off all the right people.
But what we are witnessing is an American tragedy.
Hunt’s victim’s family is under attack by the predator’s family and a highly organized, well-financed minority who want their daughter. Literally. They are being made villains in the MSM for protecting their daughter from a predator.
In the meantime, many in the media are painting Kaitlyn Hunt as a modern day Joan of Arc, a victim of rightwing intolerance. Look at this headline. Nothing could be further from the truth; Hunt was 18 when she preyed on this 14 year old, and continued to pursue her under a court order to cease and desist.
One can only imagine the confusion the victim must be experiencing in having to choose between doing the right thing and her affection for the woman who seduced her at one of the most vulnerable times of any child’s life.
McCain and his blog have come under attack, as well. Dude, I’m not sucking up a bit when I say keep up the fight. Every parent in America is in your debt.

I’ve always felt a little bit bad for Kaitlyn Hunt. She screwed up, but if her mother hadn’t been trying so hard to reach D-List celebrity status, #FreeKate wouldn’t be in jail today. It’s just pathetic and sad all around.
Mike mentioned to me that Sydney Leathers may have come in contact with AIDS during her porn shoot, which is just another symptomatic case of idiots going for fame at all cost. It just ain’t worth it.
It’s just a rumor and could possibly be a sick joke, but it only takes one contact with someone who is infected, to catch a potentially deadly virus like that.
I contracted Hepatitis C from shots I got when I joined the service back in the 70’s. Only found out about it about 4 years ago. Thankfully, the VA treated me and the virus is now gone. ( I wrote about it on my blog last year.)
My research seemed to indicate the partner has been exposed, but whether it’s true or not it’s danged spooky, isn’t it? Hope this finds you well.

I guess I’m trying to work through my sympathy for an idiot teenager who screwed up, while also recognizing that she had every chance to minimize the consequences against her, and she broke the law repeatedly. I’m not a big social conservative, but that’s the territory we’re dealing with, and I think that the socons are right.
Anyway, I hate to be all serious, but I think that this is an interesting discussion. And Mike, glad to know that you’re okay.
Me too. But your previous post brought to mind something from my past. I was 19 in college and managing a gas station at night. Every evening three young girls walked across the lot and one was a tall drop-dead blonde. She was 15 and I could see from the start she was attracted to me, and I flirted with it. Took her out a couple times, even met her parents. But I was 19 and had raging hormones—no way I was investing time with a situation that wasn’t going to get me laid. And I saw nothing but jail staring back at me whenever I looked into those gorgeous green eyes. Lol.
Seems to me we’ve lost that, I’ll call it survival skill. I haven’t been very compassionate with Kate and that’s probably wrong. Mostly I blame the parents, the ‘system’, the freaking culture. Not for her sexuality; I couldn’t give a rip how anyone gets their tool calibrated. But there have to be some limits, responsibility, and that should be trained in well before age 18.
Baring in mind I was in rock n’ roll for 20 years. Lots of opportunities I had to pass on.
