Moderate Muslims, Stop; You’re Killing Us

In 2001, George W. Bush told us that Islam is a religion of peace, and most people took his word for it. Atheist… excuse me, Catholic and Jewish Democrats practically converted.
I was reluctant. For me, any religion with a suicide vest option is a nonstarter. Not to mention the vests destroy the line of a sharp Sunday-go-to-meeting suit. I’ll go with Baptist or Judaism, thank you.
Anyway…
Malaysian Flight 370 has been hijacked.
O-duh.
The Malaysian Prime Minister stopped short of calling the disappearance of Flight 370 a hijacking, but said Saturday the jet veered off course due to apparent deliberate action taken by someone aboard.
With new clues, the search for the missing Malaysian Airlines plane entered a second agonizing week.
Authorities refocused their investigation on the crew and passengers and widened their targeted area to a large swath of geography. The arc of possible places the plane could have flown bends as far north as Kazakhstan and south to the vast, empty waters of the Indian Ocean.
The passenger jetliner disappeared March 8, en route from the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, China. [more]
Of course Malaysian officials have finally gotten around to searching the pilot’s home. What was your first clue, guys? He has a full-blown flight simulator in the garage!
This is ridiculous. If I see one more guy in a fez or taqiyah doing bad Sydney Greenstreet, I am going to hurl.
I want to believe the vast majority of Muslims are good. Really, I do. But the evidence is piling up and, more and more, we are seeing that no matter how many Muslims are peace-loving, they are also often complicit in the actions of their extremist elements.
It seems that there are only two choices when it comes to Muslims: The strapped-down AK-wielding Islamist, or the peaceful moderate Muslim who keeps his mouth shut while cousin Khalid packs a hundred pounds of C-4 into his 1964 Datsun.
Regardless, extremist Muslims are clearly running this religion.
And the Malaysian government has been slow-walking information in the Flight 370 disappearance, for whatever reasons so-called “moderate Muslims” have for covering up the evil among them.
No one on the planet who wasn’t working for MSNBC believed Obama’s lies about Benghazi for five minutes, yet we spend millions in assets for three days on the word of these nutcakes before we wise up?
UPDATE: In reflection, Sydney Greenstreet isn’t a good metaphor for the Malaysians. These guys are more like something out of a Marx Brothers‘ movie.
