‘Bama Poll Hits New Low

Don’t get excited.

The MSM and liberal historians will be scrambling for decades trying to reface the Obama presidency to look, well, less than pathetic.

But for now, there really isn’t much Mr. Obama’s flacks and hacks in the media can do to prop up their man-child messiah.

The tides have not receded, Chevy Volts still suck, the job market’s still in the crapper, and the overwhelming majority of good Muslims is trending down.

Barack would probably appreciate a new Ping putter, but other than that…

Barack Obama’s rating for strong leadership has dropped to a new low in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll, hammered by criticism of his work on international crises and a stalled domestic agenda alike. With the midterm elections looming, Americans by a 10-point margin, 52-42 percent, see his presidency more as a failure than a success.

Just 38 percent now approve of Obama’s handling of international affairs, down 8 percentage points since July to a career low; 56 percent disapprove, a majority for the first time. Fifty-two percent say he’s been too cautious in dealing with Islamic insurgents in Iraq and Syria. And the public is ahead of Obama in support for a military response to that crisis, with 65 percent in favor of extending U.S. air strikes to Syria.

Oh, as if nobody’s ever squandered away 3 trillion dollars and 4,000 U.S. lives before!

This is what you get when a dot-com billionaire amateur buys the venerable rag that made Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman household names, folks.

…Americans by a 17-point margin say Obama has done more to divide than to unite the country, a rating worse than George W. Bush’s early in his poorly rated second term – and one that’s deteriorated among Obama’s supporters as well as among his critics. Just 43 percent call Obama a strong leader, down 11 points in the past year to the fewest of his presidency.

See? ABC/WaPo even missed the obvious headline here: 57% Don’t Think Obama’s Worse Than Bush!

[W]hile 52 percent say Obama has been “too cautious” in dealing with ISIS, just 8 percent say he’s been too aggressive. That leaves only 35 percent who say he’s handled it “about right.”

Right. Why lose your head over a couple of Americans… er, losing their heads, Barack?

Obviously 35% think Barack’s okay, and only 8% think he’s George W. Bush in blackface. So on the up side, that’s 42% who don’t think he’s an effete little commie who couldn’t string a Yo-Yo with a How-To manual.
