You’ve no doubt seen some of the coverage on this latest case of Ebola in New York.
Feel comforted, New Yorkers? Just stay productive. Barack Obama and Andrew Cuomo have everything under control.
And really, the enhanced screening at JFK worked. Really. When you think about it. Really. Those little temperature doohickeys are amazing.
Bet you guys who were in a panic and calling for a travel ban for Ebola infected countries are feeling like big fat rubes now.
Count your blessings, New Yorkers; you’re danged lucky that Dr. Craig Spencer is a board-certified specialist. Otherwise he might not have known how to run around your city without infecting cabbies, subway commuters and Brooklyn bowling enthusiasts.
And we never really had Ebola in the U.S. before Barack Obama, so it’s good we have him now to show us how to contain it.
So, lucky about that.
So how’s it feel to be fundamentally transformed New Yorkers?
You guys delivered your state to Barack Obama on a silver platter two elections in a row. You seem to still like Gov. Cuomo and Mayor Warner Wilkins Jr.
And it probably feels worse than it is.
You’re overrun by illegals, crime is up, and you have your very own case of Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever. Just don’t touch anything if you go out, keep the thermometer handy, and you probably won’t catch anything.
Oh, and don’t loan out your bowling balls.

I think you are unfair about New York. New York elected and reelected Giuliani, which is absolutely amazing to somebody like me who lived in the Bay Area basically my whole adult life.
Giuliani was a magnificent mayor and one of the few NYC has had in the last 50 years. My criticism runs to NYC’s more recent history, but particularly to the Obama administration’s handling of the Ebola crisis, and Gov. Cuomo’s support of it. Dr. Spencer should not have been allowed to reenter the country without mandatory quarantine. You want to debate NYC’s record of electing lefty, anti-American mayors, let’s talk Bloomberg (who Giuliani endorsed) and Bill de Blasio.
Yes, but in cities like San Francisco it’s all hister pausers and dull lefty bureaucrats. Somebody like Goliuliani wouldn’t be anywhere near the City hall.
