Welcome Home Bowe Bergdahl

UPDATED – Under pressure from the Obama administration to dismiss or at least go lightly on Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the Army has stood its ground and finally charged him with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.

This is what happens when the White House Pentagon liaison takes a free day.

It’s easy to understand why President Obama doesn’t think desertion and misbehavior before the enemy is such a big deal; he’s been doing one after the other since the day he took office.

I keep wondering what Bergdahl hoped to accomplish when he found the Taliban in those mountains. Did he really intend to take up arms against his country? He sure wasn’t there to learn rug weaving.

I suppose when you’re born to a couple of wackadoo parents like his making rational decisions might be difficult. At any rate, this one sure didn’t work out for either him or President Obama.

Oh well, look at it this way, Bowe. You learned a second language during your time in Afghanistan. How many GIs can say that?

And we learned the value President Obama places on the six Americans who sacrificed their lives trying to find Bergdahl: Exactly five Taliban generals and one deserter.
