Republican Presidential Candidates Hold Third Debate In ColoradoUPDATE: BEN CARSON CALLS OF CHANGE IN FORMAT!!!

I just thought I would mention that.

And last night those of us who haven’t even thought of CNBC in 20 years remembered why we deserted it just as soon as there was an available alternative.

But here is a short refresher.

Okay, the entire GOP field had a good night, and we all knew that any NBC brand would be biased.

But why was Reince Priebus shocked?

What, he didn’t see this coming?

Scheduling CNBC for a debate had to be the dumbest move the RNC has made since Michael Steele bused Young Republicans to a lesbian sex show.

For years I have been asking my own dumb question. It must be dumb because no one else is asking it. Okay, Roger L. Simon did asked it in 2012, but no one took him seriously either.

Why does the RNC continue to subject its candidates to this overtly hostile forum? Mainstream pundits and anchors no longer even make a pretense of being fair!

Look, the U.S. electronic media has been a Democrat stronghold since there has been an electronic media. But why, with all of the other options available now, does the RNC continue to use hostile networks and their moderators for staging its debates?

There are dozens of conservative think tanks with serious conservative analysts, from domestic policy to national security; talk radio is loaded with pundits who will ask the questions Republicans and conservatives want answered.

Republican primaries are for Republicans and conservatives who vote Republican, not for liberals to point out all of the reasons voters should never vote Republican.

There’s a reason they call CNN the Clinton News Network. Why line network coffers, when going in you know they hate you?

The RNC should revolt against cable and network news media now. I mean now. Not one more debate without absolute autonomy in selecting the forum and moderators.

The GOP calls itself the party of ideas.

It’s time for them to get a new one.

UPDATE MEMO: It has been explained to me by my intellectual superiors on the right and left that debates cost $2 million to stage, and is not cost effective for the RNC. Like Reince and his posse don’t waste five or ten million biennially getting gomers elected who never keep their promises. Liberals have liberals to moderate their debates; Republicans should and can have conservatives moderating theirs. It can be done. Reince, call me; I’m sure we can figure something out.
