Obama: Cart/Horse Thing Under Control

Some MSM types were just short of apoplectic over Barack Obama’s presser on the ISIS crisis yesterday, when the President offhandedly admitted that he doesn’t have a strategy to fend off the Muslim head lobbers in Iraq.

To be fair, Barack probably didn’t really mean he doesn’t have a strategy. He probably meant he hasn’t settled on a strategy.

What do you think the Joint Chiefs do at those poker games?

And, anyway, this is only, what, September?

Plenty of time.

ABC’s Martha Raddatz called Obama’s admission Thursday that “we don’t have a strategy yet” for fighting ISIL “a stark admission,” and said it is creating concern, given the terror group’s increasing strength.

Raddatz observed that Obama appeared to be trying to “tamp down the emotional response” to the execution of American James Foley and other reports of ISIL’s brutality.

“I don’t want to put the cart before the horse,” Obama said Thursday. “We don’t have a strategy yet.”

“A stark admission, since the threat of ISIS has increased at an astonishing rate in the last year,” Raddatz remarked.

“Is there any concern about this message to ISIS to the world?” asked ABC’s David Muir.

“There is indeed,” Raddatz confirmed. “That is creating a lot of concern given that ISIS has been gaining strength for years.”

That Martha Raddatz is a card, isn’t she? Barack was a guest at her, what was it, third, no, second marriage. You’d think she didn’t know all along that Barry was an irresponsible deadbeat.
